What to do in a family emergency

If you need to contact your serving family member for compassionate reasons such as a death or serious illness in the family, whilst they are on operations or exercise then use the contact details below.

Contact the Joint Casualty and Compassionate Centre (JCCC)

The JCCC is staffed 24 hours a day including weekends and bank holidays.

Call:

  • 01452 51 99 51(calling within the UK)
  • +44 (0) 1452 51 99 51 (calling from outside the UK)

Useful information to try and give the JCCC when you call:

  • rank, name, service and unit
  • service number
  • date of birth
  • details of the compassionate case

You can also use the In Case of Emergency "MOD ICE" App if you have previously installed it.
